Tom believes a strong concept is the driving force of good design. Brand identities and messaging need to do more than garner attention; they must, quickly and effectively, communicate an idea that sticks, a message that resonates or a concept that inspires.
For more than 25 years Tom has created brand identities and campaigns for local, regional and global organizations and companies: Kennedy Krieger Institute, World Wildlife Fund, Campaign for Our Children, Laureate Education/Walden University, The University of Alaska College Savings Plan, Calvert Investments and T. Rowe Price, to name a few. He has successfully developed and executed this work by identifying and understanding target audience(s), followed a sound brand strategy and connectied with people in a creative yet meaningful way. His calming demeanor and hands-on style builds trust, confidence and respect among strategic partners and clients alike.
Tom and his wife Dawn have raised three children to adulthood and are now transitioning to empty-nestdom in Sykesville, Maryland.
